Who We Are
A family business
It all began with a swipe right in 2013.
I was living in my hometown of Southend and Sian was studying Applied Criminology at university in Canterbury. Love blossomed across burgers – one of which controversially included peanut butter.
It was all going great and shortly after Sian graduated in 2015, I was offered my dream job as a sports journalist. The only catch was that it meant moving 200+ miles away to Leeds. We did long distance until Sian decided to move up in March 2018. Her only mistake was agreeing to let me go ahead with renting a tiny one-bed flat in an old church in Thorner without seeing it first.
Sian got a job with the civil service, intending to only be in the north for a few years at most. Cut to today and we're still here, having fallen in love with the area and put down roots.
We try to get outside with our two tiny humans as much as possible so they can grow up being proud Yorkshirepeople!
